Katonah's Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts will come under new leadership come Sept. 17.
Jeffrey Haydon is set to take over as chief executive officer, replacing current CEO and general director Michael Barrett, who has been at the helm since 2003.
Haydon comes from his post as executive director of the Ojai Music Festival in Ojai, CA.
"I thank Caramoor’s Board of Trustees for the opportunity to join the organization as CEO," Haydon said. "Caramoor presents one of the most renowned summer music festivals in the country, attracting leading global music talent performing in intimate settings at one of America's most storied estates. Caramoor is unique in the world and the opportunity to lead it is irresistible."
Haydon holds a BA in business and music; in Ojai, he doubled the festival's budget and triplet the number of artistic and educational programs.
