Farmers' Market in Full Swing [PHOTOS]

Hudson Valley vendors made their way to Pleasantville to provide goods to shoppers.

Despite the lack of power in the area and a local gas shortage reaching crisis level, residents came out in chilly weather to shop the Pleasantville Farmers' Market on Saturday morning.

Vendors from across the Hudson Valley found enough fuel to offer locally grown fruits and vegetables along with soups, bread, cheese and other dairy products as residents came out, albeit in smaller numbers than usual, to stock up on needed items to help get them through the storm recovery period.

This is a terrific addition to town! I know I struggle with mounting piles of things to donate andRead More finding places to give to. With the Community Center and now Goodwill, great to find a second home for goods.
