There are tons of car dealerships in and around the Bedford and Katonah area, and associates at three of them recently spoke to Bedford-Katonah Patch about the most popular cars for 2013.

- Why customers like it: The most popular vehicle at the dealership since 2001, the MDX is liked by customers for its safety ratings. It fits seven passengers, too, and offers additions like running boards and body side molding.

- Most popular vehicle: 2013 Cruze
- Starting price: $17,995
- Why customers like it: The Cruze offers five-star safety ratings, plus high gas mileage.
Mount Kisco Honda (650 Bedford Road in Bedford Hills, 914-666-0030)

- Most popular vehicle: Tie between the 2013 Accord and the 2013 CR-V
- Starting price: $22,470; $24,774, respectively
- Why customers like it: Third-party review companies, such as Consumer Reports, give the Accord great ratings. The CRV is a favorite for its four-wheel drive and fuel economy.
