Meet Your Farm Market Vendors: Cabbage Hill Farm and The Farmer's Daughter

Each week this summer, we'll introduce you to two vendors from local farmer's markets.

Each week, Bedford-Katonah Patch will introduce you to two vendors from local markets serving the area: Gossett's Farmer's Market and the .

This week we introduce you to two vendors: The Farmer's Daughter at Gossett's and Cabbage Hill Farm at John Jay Homestead.

Gossett's Farmer's Market is held at Gossett Brother's Nursery in South Salem every Saturday year-round, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. and the John Jay Homestead Farmer's Market, held at the Homestead in Katonah runs Saturdays 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. through October.

Cabbage Hill Farm

Vendors: Barney Sponenberg and Anne Marcarian

Items sold: Vegetables, herbs, smoked trout, lamb, pork and beef cuts, whole tilapia, sunshine bass, eggs.

The Farmer's Daughter

Vendors: Jeanne Bastable and her daughter Kristen Bastable

Items Sold: Homemade pastries, mushroom pesto, basil pesto, broccoli raabe pesto, fresh handmade mozzarella made morning of market, stuffed focaccia, soups, cookies, cupcakes with real butter cream frosting, blue cheese dressing, horseradish pickled beets, lasagna rolls, chicken parmesan, eggplant rolls.
