A Special Evening of Discovery: 16th Annual Fox Lane Science Symposium on April 24th

The 16th annual Fox Lane Science Symposium is on April 24th, 2014, at Fox Lane High School.  It is a three year elective program that provides  interested high school students opportunities to participate in the science research of topics of their choice and push the frontiers of science.  Each student in the Science Research Program locates a mentor who is an expert in the field of study and participates in the research under the mentor’s guidance. At the annual symposium students at various stages of their research will present their findings on topics ranging from advanced medical research, mathematics and particle physics, to behavioral and social science. Dr. John Parsons of Columbia University will give a presentation on particle physics at this year’s symposium.

It will be an exciting evening of discovery, knowledge sharing and we hope you can join us  on Thursday, April 24, 2014, 6:30 pm, at Fox Lane High School, Bedford, New York.
