Volunteer -Katonah Art Center Decorating Workshop for Katonah Christmas Benefit

The Katonah Art Center has been asked to create decorations and centerpieces for the Annual Christmas Day Dinner in Katonah, a dinner hosted for residents of Westchester County shelters.

All artists, KAC instructors, students, and local families are invited to help create one-of-a-kind decorations which will turn the Montfort Academy, the location of the dinner, into a Christmas Wonderland.

The Annual Christmas Dinner in Katonah is an all-volunteer, not-for-profit project involving hundreds of Westchester residents and businesses.  Last year, the dinner was attended by over 300 people from shelters all over Westchester.  It provides them with a hot meal and an opportunity to "shop" for lightly used items.  Everyone receives a shopping bag to fill with clothes, toys, and other items from a room filled with donated items for men, women and shildren.
