Lions Donate To The Bedford Hills Free Library

On December 13, 2013 several members of The Lions Club of Bedford Hills met with personnel of the Bedford Hills Free Library.  The Lions Club presented a $500 check to the Library to benefit youth programs that the library administers.  The funds were raised at the “Spooky” Pancake Breakfast which was held in October at the Bedford Hills Community House.  During the Pancake Breakfast costumes abounded and Ms. Kathy was very busy creating balloon hats for all.  The Lions also made a special donation to Ms. Kathy thanking her for her tireless efforts and dedication to service.  Club President, John Santacroce, said “We continue to support the programs the Library offers to the youths of Bedford Hills.  The other programs the Library offers are also a valuable resource to the community. We value our continued relationship with the Library and wish Rhoda Gushue, Director, best wishes upon her retirement.”
