Bedford to Talk Septic Systems, $7,500 for Town Website

The meeting is set to begin with a work session at 7 p.m., and regular business at 8.

Two reappointments to advisory panels, a discussion on waste recycling and a presentation from Bedford2020 Coalition are just a few of the items on this evening's town board agenda.

A slew of upcoming events and a proposal regarding $7,500 worth of upgrades to the town's website are also on the docket.

Westchester County Legislator Peter Harckham will be in attendance for a talk about alternative septic systems.

In April 2012 the town decided against bringing sewers into Bedford Hills and Katonah, where failing septic systems are leaching into the town's groundwater supply.
