"Almost 5 years ago the Town of Bedford began the process of changing its website and email addresses from .info to .gov. It became necessary when the Town was having trouble using many government sites that did not and would not recognize .info. We changed our email addresses – updated our business cards and stationary when we needed to reprint. However if someone sent an email or went to the website with .info, behind the scenes it pointed to .gov - this enabled us to make the transition and not loose anything – but now….we are ready to finally flip the switch and no longer perform our background magic allowing .info to still work. As of 2/28/14 .info will officially be gone. Like every other change in life, this will be hard for some – please check your address book and update us to .gov – if you have problems, questions or concerns, please call the town clerk's office, 914-666-4534 and ask for Boo."
