An Interview with Dick Lyman, Candidate for Pound Ridge Town Supervisor

Pound Ridge, NY (October 25th, 2013) - Dick Lyman, Pound Ridge Candidate for Town Supervisor, was recently interviewed by Laurance Basckin of the Pound Ridge Daily Voice in his article "Ali Boak Vs. Dick Lyman for Pound Ridge Supervisor" and shared his thoughts about what he supports as a candidate, the environment, and TEP.

Lyman states "there’s no Republican or Democrat way to run Pound Ridge. At the local level, we’re all for the same thing. I want to help protect the environment, promote the character of our town and maintain tight fiscal management to keep taxes low.”

He also discussed how to improve our environmental issues is Pound Ridge, "the simple answer is to continue work on waste water and storm water management, specifically in Scotts Corners. The Conservation Board, which I am the liaison from the Town Board, is constantly working to provide awareness and I strongly support these efforts."

Lyman also shares about the TEP project, "there’s nothing wrong with TEP and I’m not opposed to outside funds to accomplish the needs of our community. There was never a formal identification of what those needs are or how much money we would be willing to take from our tax payers to address those needs.”
