Both the Bedford Central and Katonah-Lewisboro school districts announced Monday that they would be closed due to the weather, which represent the first day that each is using for the 2013-14 school year.
Bedford Central was initially doing a 2-hour delay but switched to closure after road conditions were reviewed, according to emails from Superintendent Jere Hochman.
Katonah-Lewisboro had a closure notice posted on its website.
