Pound Ridge Garden Club Makes Holiday Cornucopias for Seniors

Members of the Pound Ridge Garden Club devoted their recent meeting to creating decorative cornucopias replete with seasonal dried flowers and fruit suited for a Thanksgiving table. The results of the effort—approximately 20 cornucopias—will grace Thanksgiving tables at each of the four units of Scotts Ridge Apartments, an A-Home development in Scotts Corners. In addition, cornucopias are being delivered to the Pound Ridge Town House and to some seniors who are homebound.At the same meeting, members of the garden club also made holiday ornaments that will be sold to raise money for Pound Ridge Garden Club’s community beautification efforts.
