Harvey Boys Tennis Stays Perfect

The two-time HVAL defending champions keep rolling along.

The Harvey's boys tennis team continues to pile up the wins with another convincing victory, this time a 7-2 win over the Watkinson School of Hartford, Conn. Wednesday.

Harvey dominated in rolling to its eighth straight victory of the year. The top three singles players made quick work of their opponents. Armonk’s Alec Roslin led the way with a 10-2 victory, followed quickly by Harry Solomon who won his match 10-1 and Zach Schwartz who won 10-2.

At #4 singles, David Weiner had a tougher time, but eventually pulled out a 10-6 win which was followed by another tough victory for Bryan Krosser of Bedford at #5 singles who won 10-5. To complete the singles sweep, Jordan Fox of Cortlandt Manor completely dismantled his opponent in winning 10-1.

In doubles, the combination of Solomon and Chappaqua’s Tyler Levy battled hard to win 8-5 at #1 doubles.

Harvey has won back to back HVAL titles the past two years.
