Last Chance to See Joe Girardi in Katonah Sunday

Baseball lovers, especially fans of the Yankees, will have their chance to share some hot stove talk with Yankees manager Joe Girardi this Sunday at Harvey.

(KATONAH) A few tickets remain available to see New York Yankees Manager Joe Girardi at The Harvey School this Sunday, the school announced Monday. The Yankees manager will appear Jan. 12 at 6 p.m. in an event billed as Harvey Presents: An Evening with Joe Girardi.

The event, which will include a segment in which the Yankees manager will take questions from the audience, will take place in the intimate setting of The Lasdon Theater at The Walker Center for the Arts on the campus of The Harvey School. With 13-time Emmy Award winning sports broadcaster Jimmy Roberts of NBC Sports and the Golf Channel serving as interviewer and moderator, the Yankee manager will share stories about his days both as a player on the great Yankee teams of the late 1990s and about his time as the manager of the team since 2008. Girardi will also talk about his team’s prospects for the upcoming 2014 season.

Girardi, who enjoyed a 15-year career playing for the Cubs, the Rockies, the Cardinals and the Yankees, earned World Series rings as a member of the 1996, 1998 and 1999 World Champion Yankees. He also earned a World Series ring as the manager of the 2009 Yankees who finished on top of the baseball world that season.
