"The Invasives Project - Pound Ridge" (TIP-PR) is an initiative of The Henry Morgenthau Preserve, Bedford Audubon Society and the Pound Ridge Conservation Board.

Stay tuned to learn the latest news on fighting invasive plant species in your area.

Please consider attending our TIP -- PR Winter Forum on Sunday, January 13th, 2013 at the Pound Ridge Library, 271 Westchester Ave. from 7:00-8:30pm (snow date Jan. 14).


We'll learn about the Invasive Project - Pound Ridge and hear what area experts are doing to study and arrest the spread of invasive plant species such as Mile-A-Minute, Oriental Bittersweet, Japanese Stiltgrass and Barberry.

Speakers include:

Tate Bushell – LandvSteward and Educator at The Pound Ridge Land Conservancy
Barbara Gerson – Pound Ridge Resident and Master Gardener
Sandra Paget – Henry Morgenthau Preserve Committee Member and Master Gardener
Mark Weckel, Ph.D – Director of Research and Land Management, Mianus River Gorge Preserve
