2.  Welcome new blogger: Energize!

3. Stroller Tours at KMA

New parents, grandparents, and caregivers are invited to join the group of cultural enthusiasts at Stroller Tours, an original series of exhibition tours specially designed for adults with children under 18 months old. Following light breakfast snacks provided by Bedford Village Pastry, participants are invited to join an interactive tour and engage in exhibition-focused discussions and art activities inspired by the Museum’s 2012 Tri-State Juried Exhibition, Art to the Point. Tours are free for KMA members, $5 for non-members, and do not require registration.

4. Check out the Wolf Conservation Center

offers a number of interesting events - this weekend and beyond, for example, you can join naturalists for an opportunity to photograph Ambassador wolves Atka, Alawa and Zephyr. The WCC sayd "perfect light and a fresh coat of winter fur on the wolves will make for exquisite photographs. Hot beverages will be offered in the woodstove-heated classroom." I just took my kids to the mythology of wolves session and they thought the stories we heard were interesting, but meeting the wolves upclose was even better.

5. Kudos to students making college honor lists

Skidmore College has announced students achieving honors:

Alexia Zarras, a member of the class of 2014. She is the daughter of Dean and Kirstin Zarras of Bedford.

Daniel Manson, a member of the class of 2015. He is the son of Mitch Manson of Bedford.

Ryan Clark, a member of the class of 2012. He is the son of Tim Clark of Katonah and Megan Clark of Cross River.

Robin Luongo, a member of the class of 2015. He is the son of Robert Gulian and Laurie Luongo of Katonah.

Zoe Gross, a member of the class of 2015. She is the daughter of Bill Gross and Alicia Condon of Katonah.

Term honors are awarded for a quality point ratio of 3.6 from a possible 4.0, for students who have completed 14 credit hours.
