Now nourished and friendly and ready to be a great pet for any type of family, Lady is faithful, sweet, devoted and playful.

Her foster family said she "was the best Mom ever," and "really nice to everyone she met." She's also gentle and good for a family, couple or an individual.

Lady comes with a heart worm condition, which requires her to be kept quiet and low key for about 6 weeks. A New Chance Animal Rescue pays for the treatment, but her current foster care home is active home with lots of dogs and people.

Heart worm is only contagious if Lady is bit by a mosquito that then bites another dog who is not given it's monthly heartguard medicine—a very low risk with the pet-owning population of Bedford-Katonah. Lady is spayed, microchipped and up to date on all vaccinations.

Can you foster Lady and officially adopt her when her treatment is completed and full health restored?
