Obituary: Michal Winter: Rotary President, Active Temple Member

Michal Turiel Winter, Mount Kisco Rotarian, died on Feb. 16. The funeral will be held at 11:30 a.m. Mon. Feb. 18 at Temple Shaaray Tefila in Bedford.

Michal Turiel Winter of Mount Kisco, died on February 16, 2013 after a courageous six-year battle with ovarian cancer. 

She is survived by her loving husband Warren, sister, Robinanne Turiel and her children Abigail and Elizabeth. A graduate of Binghamton University, she was the agency relations coordinator at the Food Bank for Westchester. 

She was active in her community and was a Democratic District Leader, member of the Social Action Committee at Temple Shaaray Tefila, President of the Mount Kisco Rotary, PTA President, and a long time member of the Mount Kisco Recreation Commission. 

Donations may be made in her honor to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund. We will miss her. The Funeral will be held at 11:30 on Monday February 18, 2013 at Temple Shaaray Tefila 89 Baldwin Road Bedford Corners, NY 10549 The family will be sitting Shiva Monday through Wednesday at 7 p.m. in their home.
