Police Arrest Driver With 4 Suspensions After Traffic Stop

A Hopewell Junction woman was arrested last week after Bedford police observed her allegedly speeding on Route 172 in Bedford

Officers on patrol stopped Raquel Robinson, 38, at 12:20 p.m. on Oct. 5 on Route 172 near Baldwin Road and the Fox Lane campus. Police said they clocked her speed at 55 miles per hour in a 40 mph zone.

After a computer check revealed Robinson had four separate driving suspensions, she was arrested and charged with second degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a car with three or more suspensions and speeding. She was released on $100 bail return.

Mt. Kisco man arrested for driving infraction

Carlos Aguilar, 36, of Mt. Kisco, was arrested on Oct 2 and charged with third degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a car and unlicensed driving after the Bedford police license plate reader tagged his car on Bedford Road. A computer check revealed he had no New York license and his driving privileges were suspended. He was released on $100 bail pending a return to town court.
